I'm a software engineer and amateur magician who loves solving puzzles (particularly combinatorial puzzles, and particularly if the solution is useful for magic).

At the moment this site just provides me somewhere to hang the tools that I build to figure out set-ups to use for magic tricks, so that other magicians can use them. However, if you have suggestions for other puzzle/problem-solving tools that I could build and put here, please get in touch (as I said above, I love solving puzzles).

Alphablocks

Finds appropriate letters to use for a spectator-provided list of words when performing The Jerx's Mind Reading Dice trick.

Alphablocks Text

Like the above, but takes the words to divine from a block of text rather than an explicit list. See The Jerx's Ideomotor by Proxy for an example presentation.

Ascrabbological Sign

Finds appropriate sets of Scrabble tiles to use for a given list of words for The Jerx's Ascrabbological Sign trick.

Linguablocks

Like Alphablocks, but the guesses generated for each round are words rather than arbitrary sets of letters.
