David K has commissioned a Chrome extension that extracts song lyrics from AZlyrics.com and copies them to the clipboard. This can be used to streamline getting song lyrics into the Alphablocks Text or Linguablocks Text tools when being used with the words to a song. He writes:
- Download and Install
- Download and unzip the Beatly extension from my Dropbox. To install the extension in Chrome: 3 dot menu | More Tools | Extensions | Load Unpacked | <Select folder where you unzipped the download>
- Usage
- From Chrome, go to AZlyrics.com. Note that the Beatly extension adds a music note button to the song lyrics page (next to the song title), and to search result entries. In all cases, clicking the music note button copies the song lyrics to the clipboard. So... just search for a song and click the music note button. The lyrics are now ready to be pasted into Alphablocks Text.
